Orren Mixer (1920–2008). Each hand-painted model is inspired by
one of his famed “ideal” horse breed paintings.

horses to spirited mules, the Pinto Horse
Association of America showcases the
versatility of several unique registration types.
• Commissioned by the PtHA in 2000,
Mixer’s Pinto painting is displayed at the
Pinto Heritage Museum in Bethany, OK.
