Better known as “Goose” to his family, he has been a stand out in Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) competition for over a decade. Owned by Jim Jirkovsky but loved by the entire family, Goose has the honor of competing with three generations of Jim’s family. This special connection has resulted in titles in youth, open, cow horse, ranch, and roping events. Goose’s accomplishments include being named World’s Best Appaloosa at the World Championship Appaloosa Show three times, 17 Open World and National Championships, three World Champion Cattle Horse titles, and 15 Youth World Championships. In 2019, Goose was inducted into the ApHC’s Hall of Fame, making him one of only 17 geldings to achieve this honor! Happiest when showing, Goose is still competing and teaching the younger generation the rewards of stellar horsemanship
